In the fifth stage, a latest-generation alembic selects the fine aromatic compounds of the grape varieties. O de V then rests briefly at its final strength before running through a bed of natural charcoal and dried birch bark. Filtration takes several steps: decanting, sieving through linen cloths and traditional filters, microbiological purification under electrostatic voltage and, finally, cross-flow filters that ensure a perfectly pure product.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCitrus bergamia – Bergamotte\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eDie genaue Herkunft der Bergamotte ist unbekannt. Sehr wahrscheinlich ist sie aus einer Kreuzung von Zitronatzitrone und Bitterorange hervorgegangen. Fest steht, dass die erste größere Bergamotteplantage 1750 an der Küste um Reggio Calabria angelegt wurde, wo bis heute der größte Teil der Weltproduktion entsteht. Die Frucht ist etwas größer als eine Orange und etwas kleiner als eine Grapefruit; ihre Farbe ist blasser als die einer Zitrone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eO de V Bergamotte erhält sein Aroma durch Kaltmazeration: Die Bergamotteschalen ziehen 40 Tage lang in hochprozentigem Wodka.
